The
mercurial solo success of 3kStatic's Justin Katz
has seen his work as J-Punch and Hook
The Captain
released on a bevvy of famous labels, including
Sony Music Germany, Global Undergound, System
Recordings
and more; all the while racking up a string of
hits with tracks such as Temple,
Bitch and his remix for the current
Trafik single, Echoes.
It's no surprise, then, that The Music -
with words and music by Katz - has risen to
become the single most
popular radio hit in the six years of the
3kStatic project. Hitting #1 on the Electric
Circus chart (broadcast
nationally on the RadioU FM Network) and staying
there for 4 weeks (September-October 2004) and
still
at #6 on the nationally-compiled Beyond Music
chart, The Music continues to rack up
mpressive
airplay and was included on limited edition 12"
DJ vinyl release with All The Way Alive / End
of the Reel.
