3kStatic will score the upcoming feature
Crackhead Jesus, a film conceived
from the writings renowned multi-media artist
Victor-Hugo Vaca Jr. Fueled by the teachings of
a false prophet who, high on crack-cocaine
claimed to be the Incarnation of Jesus Christ, a
bizarre series of events transpired which forced
the artist to push the creative envelope.
Victor-Hugo's diary of the world on canvas
fashioned a new medium for reporting news and
documenting events. The resulting film pierces a
smoke-screened underworld of cloak and dagger
leadership that threatened a struggling
Democracy. With its incendiary title,
Crackhead Jesus spins a yarn that
connects subterranean plotlines linking false
doctrines, conspirational legal (and other)
machinations and other terrors in a post-9/11
world.
The film is slated to begin production in early
2009, and the story is currently available in
participatory outline form at the film's
official website. The 'Good vs. (Very) Evil'
storyline is a cryptic and chaotic tale intended
for adult audiences. The intensity of the themes
and situations of the premise be unsettling for
some. Discretion advised.
The first studio sessions for the forthcoming
3kStatic album are underway. With an anticipated
release date of March 2009, the album will be
released in conjunction with appearances at
Winter Music Conference. The release is expected
to be the 25th 3kStatic transmission, and marks
the 10th year of the 3kStatic project.

the 3kStatic single 'Voodoo Science' peaked at
#1 on the Downtempo sales charts at

also hitting #4 at

(Leftfield). Issued as advance digital singles
from the forthcoming 3kStatic album Voodoo
Science, the title track and cuts from
Worked
Over Nasty:
Singles
have each charted Top 5 on various reporting
sales charts.
In addition, the track 'The Big Space (Datguy
Remix)' has received strong DJ support on
the influential dance music pools Balance and
Release Promo, charting Top 15 at Release. 'The
Big Space' will be released on Mixology, the
home label of legendary DJ Mark Lewis, and also
features a remix by Kris B. (Proton
Radio, XM Radio, System Recordings) and DJ
Madison. Meanwhile, the track 'How
Underground (Do You Really Want To Be?) is
currently a 'recommended track' at popular

releases from the 3kStatic discography are now
available via iTunes Plus, offering DRM-free
tracks in high quality 256 kbps AAC encoding.
3kStatic listeners using iTunes Plus can upgrade
their previous downloads for only 30 cents per
song, and without limitations on the type of
music player or number of computers that
purchased songs.
Among the
initial 3kStatic albums to come to the iTunes
format are Other Ideals: The Best of
