3KSTATIC JOINS MICROSOFT AMP ALLIANCE

3kStatic has been accepted as the first artist member of the Audio Music Partnership Alliance,
an industry group advancing the use of technology in music creation and production. Spearheaded by Microsoft, AMPAlliance members also include Moog, Korg, Bose, PCAudioLabs and other leading technology partners.

As part of the AMPAlliance, members of 3kStatic will regularly contribute news and ideas from an artist/production perspective.

3kStatic is also active and has been featured on Crossfader.com, the Microsoft community site
for dance and electronic music production.

3KSTATIC ON 50TH GRAMMY AWARDS BALLOT - 'BEST ELECTRONIC/DANCE ALBUM'

Although up against impressive competition in the bid for official nomination, the 3kStatic album Where's Our Piece of the Groovy World? appears on the ballot as a candidate in the talent-laden 'Best Electronic/Dance Album' category for the 50th GRAMMY Awards. The album is the first in the nearly nine-year career of 3kStatic to win GRAMMY consideration.

In addition to GRAMMY consideration, the album and tracks from the album have garnerd significant acclaim, including a feature on the official website of protest music legend Neil Young and 'song of the year' mention on various indie music websites for tracks including 'Signal Intelligence feat. Robert Bond' and 'Old News (Endless Static) featuring Pete Miser, Real Live Show and George Clinton & The P*Funk All-Stars.
